Star Renewable Energy is pleased to announce it will be sponsoring an exclusive whisky tasting event at the Euroheat & Power Congress 2017 in Glasgow. On Monday 15th May from 7pm – 9pm delegates are invited to attend a malt whisky tasting session with an expert at the impressive Kelvingrove Art Gallery.

The EHP Congress is a internationally acclaimed event attended by the renewable industry and end users from around the world. Taking place from 14 -17 May 2017, the event programme includes a business exhibition, conferences, discussions and keynote speeches – along with social events and business exchanges. This year, the evening function is a whisky tasting event, giving attendees from all over the globe the opportunity to sample some of Scotland’s world famous spirits.

Dave Pearson of Star Renewable Energy said, “The Euroheat & Power Congress is a wonderful event bringing together heating and cooling experts and customers from all over the world. This year it is based in our hometown of Glasgow, so we are getting involved in every way we can – including sponsoring a fantastic social function with a Scottish twist”.

As a pioneer of low carbon heating technology, SRE is taking a strong position at this year’s EHP Congress. The experts in district heat pumps are exhibiting at the event, sponsoring the whisky tasting evening and the company’s Director Dave Pearson will be delivering two keynote speeches at the congress.

The congress lasts for four days and the busy schedule includes a variety of industry discussions and social exchanges. From conferences and dialogue sessions to awards ceremonies and whisky tasting evenings, EuroHeat 2017 looks set to be one of the most exciting industry events of the year.

Dave Pearson added, “We invite attendees to relax and wind down after the first day of congress by sampling some of the finest whiskies in the world. It’s the perfect opportunity to network and have an authentic Scottish experience while staying in Glasgow.”
